We are privileged to play on one of the most attractive grounds in England, against the unique background of ‘The Edge’; famous for legends of Wizards and Knights. We are a founder member of the Chapel Press Cheshire County Cricket League, the top league in the Cheshire Pyramid which ultimately feeds First Class Counties and Academies. Our 1st and 2nd XI’s both play in their respective Premier Divisions on Saturdays whilst the 3rd XI play on a Sunday as a development side to nurture future talent along with an active Over 40’s midweek side whom play on a Wednesday evening throughout the summer.
A full fixture card of cup competitions for the respective sides includes the ECB Cockspur National Cup, The Lovelane Cheshire Cup, and the League Twenty 20 competition. The Club also prides itself on a thriving Junior Section, with cricket provided for all ages from 6 or 7 up to a successful Colt U18’s side with many Juniors representing Cheshire and featuring in First Class County academy XI’s as well as progressing into Senior cricket at all levels.
The Club can offer a wide range of social facilities backed by the superb environment for cricket, which makes Alderley one of the first requests on the Cheshire County rota. The Clubhouse offers a full menu seven days a week throughout the year, and we are the only cricket club in Cheshire that offers this facility.
