Welcome to The Alderley Edge Hockey Club Website.
Alderley Edge Hockey club have 9 senior sides playing in competitive leagues, 6 Men’s and 3 Ladies, together with hockey for juniors, boys & girls, from aged 7 to 18.
The men’s 1st team play an excellent standard of hockey playing in the highest Northern league, the Northern Premier League with the 2nd team in the North West league 2.
In addition the 3rd,4th,5th and 6th team all play in North West Hockey Leagues.
All three ladies teams play in the Cheshire Womens's Hockey Leagues with the 1st team in Division 3.
Alderley Edge is a thriving and successful Club, with a tremendous record of junior development providing large numbers to Cheshire, North West and indeed England at under 13/15/17 level and recently were Under 13 Boys National Champions.
Alderley Edge U15 and U18 are both striving to be National Champions this Season.
This season the Club fields two weekly under 15 boys teams, together with a girls colt team and under 13 matches for girls and boys.
Following the success of winning the Under 13 boys National Champions, the Junior Section is one of envy in the hockey world. Some 100 children ages 7 to 13 attend weekly Sunday morning coaching!
OH! And don't forget the veterans – who are hoping to improve on their success from International duties in Belgium with a trip to Holland in May.
Accompanying the excellent hockey portfolio of the Club is the superb clubhouse facilities in a delightful Cheshire setting, open 7 nights a week, offering the finest cuisine and an active social calendar.
