Welcome to The Alderley Edge Hockey Club Website.

Alderley Edge Hockey Club is one of the oldest and successful Hockey Clubs in Cheshire.

Both the Men’s and Ladies Sections are thriving and add to that a tremendous Junior Section, the Club can provide hockey for all ages and standards.

The men’s 1^st team are in North League One, with a swift return to the Northern Premier League being the goal this season.

The ladies 1^st XI team play in the Cheshire Women’s Hockey League Division 1 and following two successive promotions, aims for another promotion this year.

The men’s 2^nd XI aim is for promotion to North West Hockey Division 1 and the ladies 2^nd look for back-to-back promotion after last season’s success.

The 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th men’s are all playing in North West hockey leagues and the ladies 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th all play in the Cheshire Ladies Leagues, with the 3^rd and 4^th ladies teams both being promoted last season.

Alderley Edge has a tremendous record of junior development, providing large numbers of both boys and girls to Cheshire and North West at under 13/15/17 level. Recently the U13 boys were under 13 Boys National Champions.  Last season, Alderley were Cheshire champions at both U11 and U13 levels and both teams played in the Northern play-offs.

Following the success of winning the Under 13 Boys National Champions, the Junior Section has flourished and is one of envy in the hockey world. Some 100 children aged 7 to 13 attend weekly coaching and participate in games (refer to Junior Web Page).

Accompanying the excellent hockey portfolio of the Club is the superb clubhouse facilities in a delightful Cheshire setting, open seven nights a week, offering the finest cuisine and an active social calendar.
