AECC will again host the Village Fete on Sunday 30th June from 12 noon.
For the 9th year we a re proud to host this community family event
This year we have the ever popular DOG SHOW and visitors are encouraged to bring their pets to enter into the various fun categories
The marquee will be filled with 30 hand-picked independent exhibitors exclusively from the local area providing a MARKET OF HOME, FOOD AND GIFT STALLS
We will also have a CHILDRENS FUNFAIR on the grounds
Ladies from the Tennis section will be providing delicious AFTERNOON TEAS, plus there will be a PIMMS AND PROSECCO BAR as well as a BBQ
"The idea of holding an annual village fete was conceived by Emma Bolton of the Lavender Tree and myself as we felt that a village such as Alderley was lacking in traditional village community events. The end result was a very family orientated afternoon with something for the whole family to enjoy and the village cricket club provided the ideal location for such an event.
Since the fet was introduced into the calendar the local residents now have the extremely popular May Fair, annual fireworks display and the Christmas lights switch-on, all organised by locals for locals.
We look forward to welcoming residents of Alderley Edge and visitors to our wonderful village on Sunday 30th June from 12 noon."

The Annual Club Tournament run by Geoffrey Bean and Nikki Royle was once again a great success with the week culminating in some great tennis played in fabulous weather on the new courts. Huge thanks to Geoffrey and Nikki for organising the event and spending so many hours every evening (as well as during the day responding to texts) during a long week for them. We were delighted this year that Geoffrey presented the special cup for a person who has contributed greatly during the tournament week to Nikki Royle, in her first year helping to run the tournament.
Thanks also to everyone who participated and especially also to those who helped with flowers and photos.
