Saturday 31st Feb saw 50 + hardy Hockey volunteers spend three hours enthusiastically shifting snow from the Edge pitch. An 8am start through to 11am with youngsters and parents bringing wheelbarrows and snow shifting shovels.
This ensured 4 games could be played on Saturday afternoon and the pitch left fit for junior hockey, a Vixens match and an over 35's Ladies practice on the Sunday.
The coffee and chocolate brewed in the Shed was welcome refreshment along with the bacon and sausage sandwiches made by the Club and Peter Herd the Bakers. Amazing spirit and effort from so many Edge folk, families and friends!
