Free Squash Protective Eyewear

Main Image

With more than 40 juniors now playing squash regularly at Alderley Edge Cricket Club we have partnered with Crewe based North West Acrylics who have donated a protective eyewear display holder.

The  display case holds protective eyewear for members to borrow and replace should they want to use these.  In line with England Squash regulations, juniors are required to wear protective eyewear when playing squash.

Head of Squash, Matt McFahn said “A huge thanks to Jason Goodwin at North West Acrylics for providing the display holder.  It’s important for juniors to wear protective eyewear, we want to ensure there are no excuses for anyone at the club not to be safe on court.”

Jason Goodwin of North West Acrylics said “When I was approached by Matt to create the protective eyewear display holder I felt it was something I wanted to support and really important to protect your eyes, you only have one set and they’re not replaceable through contact injuries”.

The unit will make free protective eyewear available to members.

Many thanks to Jason Goodwin for his generous support.  North West Acrylics make bespoke items to order, see their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/northwestacrylics/
