Dates: Fri 3rd, Sat 4th and Sun 5th September 2021 (Hockey played on Sat and Sun)
Confirmed Teams - TBC

Location - Games will all be played at "The Edge".

 

Umpires - Alderley Edge HC will provide all umpires

Physio - As it prove so popular last year, we are very pleased to confirm we have again secured the services of PhysioFit to provide a physio service on both days.

Please note, as usual, patients maybe asked to pay a small amount for their treatment.

Note - throughout the weekend, we will be playing all games at The Edge.

 
Win: 3 points / Draw: 1 point / 1 extra point for every 3 goal advantage in a game (e.g. 3-0 win gains 4 points; 7-1 gains 5 points) 

  • Prizes - There is be various prizes awarded, including the Winners Cup!
  

Food/Drink

- Fri Evening - Welcome drink and meal at AECC Clubhouse

- Sat Breakfast - Bacon Bap 

                Lunch - Hot sandwich, beer and other snacks at The Edge

- Sat Evening - BBQ or fresh oven pizza

- Sun Breakfast - Bacon Bap available at clubhouse 

                 Lunchtime - Hot buffet at club.

Teams normally stay locally, but Manchester is just 30mins on the train. 

The last train on a Saturday nights is 23:36pm arriving at Manchester at 00:05am. 

First train on a Sunday morning is 08:41 (faster train at 09:05am).

 

We would advise teams to find a hotel close to Alderley or Wilmslow.

If they are all full, the next option would be a hotel near Manchester airport,

which are usually good value and only 15 min in a taxis.
  • Directions - From Airport - Just 8 minutes on the train from Manchester Airport train

station direct to Wilmslow Station or change for Alderley Edge (dependent 

on where you are staying)
  • Entry Fee - £50 per player for all hockey, food, physio, umpires, 

prizes and some beer vouchers!
