Defibrillator and Life Support Training - REMINDER - 18th January, 24th January, 3rd February, 15th February, 22nd February

Main Image

As some of you may know we have had to use the defibrillator (successfully) twice in the last six months. We are running five training sessions (and will schedule more if required) on the following dates from 6-7pm:

  • 18th January - fully booked
  • 24th January - fully booked
  • 3rd February - fully booked
  • 15th February
  • 22nd February

The sessions are being run by Natalie Hudson who is Head of Resuscitation in a Liverpool Hospital.

The training is limited to 20 people on each date so please place your booking directly with Natalie Hudson at [email protected]

The sessions will cover how to perform basic life support on both adults and children and will also teach you how to use defibrillator.

We ask you to to complete a negative lateral flow test before attending a session, as you will be in close proximity of others.

The sessions will be run in a very informal manner and we hope that you will all take away some key life-saving skills.

Here is a useful link that Natalie has agreed I can share.

Many thanks to Natalie who has agreed to run these sessions free of charge for us.

Fund Raising for the North West Ambulance Service

You may be aware that we used the North West Ambulance service on both occasions that the defibrillator was used

You may not know that the service is funded entirely by voluntary donations and the North West service costs £9.5m to run each year and each call-out costs ~£1700.

So given that Natalie is running the training sessions free of charge, we would be delighted if you would give a (voluntary) donation to the North West Ambulance service.
