Defibrillator and Life Support Training and raising funds for the North West Air Ambulance Service - Two further dates - 24th / 31st May 6-7pm

Main Image

We have already trained ~80 people on the life support training sessions run by Natalie Hudson (thanks Natalie - they have been very well received). Two further dates are now available and will be held in the Committee Room in the clubhouse from 6-7pm:
- 24th May
- 31st May
Please contact Natalie ([email protected]) if you wish to attend.

We welcome bookings from other sections as well as tennis........
We are continuing to raise funds for the North West Ambulance Service and would appreciate a (voluntary) donation from those attending the sessions.........

Fund Raising for the North West Ambulance Service

You may be aware that we have used the North West Ambulance service on both occasions that the defibrillator was used

You may not know that the service is funded entirely by voluntary donations and the North West service costs £9.5m to run each year and each call-out costs ~£1700.

So given that Natalie is running the training sessions free of charge, we would be delighted if you would give a (voluntary) donation to the North West Ambulance service.

Huge thanks to those who have already donated - as at 28th April we have raised £1265

The sessions cover how to perform basic life support on both adults and children and will also teach you how to use defibrillator.

The sessions will be run in a very informal manner and we hope that you will all take away some key life-saving skills.

Here is a useful link that Natalie has agreed I can share.
