AEHC Covid Pitch Usage Rules

As some of you will have seen England Hockey have now provided guidance on the resumption of some hockey activity. We are delighted to say that from Sunday 24th May we will make The Edge available for use in a restricted manner. We plan to do this on a trial basis whilst we gauge demand and understand what more formal structure (if any) we need to put around this. We are trusting that members will act sensibly, with common sense and with respect for others. As such the initial operating approach/instructions are as follows.      See full story...

Coronavirus Update - Grounds Closure

Following the Governments announcement last night, the General Committee sadly informs you that the cricket club, including the tennis courts and cricket nets, will now be closed with effect from today, Tuesday 24 March 2020 for a minimum of 3 weeks. We are hoping that we can resume as soon as the Government advice permits us to open the grounds and courts again. Your Committee would like to update you about the Clubs position following the Prime Ministers advice earlier this week to avoid pubs, clubs, theatres and social events and to reduce non-essential contact and travel. 360.HOCKEY Academies and skills TOP UP programmes are back for Summer 2020.

AEHC is working in partnership with 360.HOCKEY as one of their four centres of excellence and this is a substantial fundraiser for the club. We hope you will take the opportunity to be part of these flagship hockey coaching events. These sessions are open to any player from other clubs, so please invite your friends who may play elsewhere. If you cannot make the dates at the Alderley Edge centre then please take a look at the options to attend our other NW centre at the University of Manchester.
